Pandemics, poverty, wars and natural disasters. All things which have dominated our news in 2022 alone! This world is no stranger to suffering, and whether on a global level or a personal level suffering often exposes much and raises many questions. Join us as we work through some of these hard issues together.
2000 years of good, bad and ugly. In an age of cancel culture, many have it in for the Christian church. But is there more to the story? Has the church actually impacted the world for good? And if so, why? Join us as we unravel the tapestry and find the thread that holds it together.
Sooner or later we’re all confronted with the sad reality of death. Whether in those we love, or in questioning our own mortality. But is it all a dead end? Or is there a hope to be found, even in the face of death?
The daily grind. Waiting for the weekend to come. Cycles of futility. Is this all there is, or does our life have more to it? Join us as we think about what life really means, and how to find true, lasting purpose.
Guilt - Being plagued with the reality of what we’ve done.
Shame - Being plagued with the reality of who we are.
Both of these are crippling, in a society that judges and condemns. Is there hope of a better reality where these two things do not define us? Find out as we journey through this topic together.
“Spiritual but not religious” - The phrase on many people’s lips. Why is it that we feel the need to seek after something or somebody. Is there someone at the end of the quest? How can we know?
